The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has published on 16 July 2026 an update on the regulatory framework that could apply to any future Heathrow expansion.
The document sets out the CAA’s updated views on possible regulatory models and seeks stakeholder feedback on the next steps in developing the framework, including areas for further analysis.
This forms part of the wider Heathrow expansion programme, alongside other workstreams such as planning policy and community engagement.
